May is Bike Month!

CommuteSmart Birmingham is rolling into Bike Month alongside the National Bike League—and you’re invited to ride with us!  Join the movement and be part of #B2WBHAM as we celebrate the joy, freedom, and convenience of biking. 

Whether you’re commuting to work, cruising, exercising, or exploring the city, every ride counts. However you choose to ride, this is your moment to get out, get moving, and connect with Birmingham’s biking community and CommuteSmart Birmingham.

All throughout May, we’ll be sharing tips, videos, and fun giveaways—so be sure to follow along and stay in the loop. And don’t miss the highlight of the month: our Bike to Work Day celebration on May 15, 2026, from 7–9 AM! Stop by one of our energizer stations at Redemptive Cycles, Domestique Coffee (Homewood), or Cala Coffee for complimentary coffee, great vibes, and free CommuteSmart swag.
